The Large Visual Display is for TTY users who require a magnified display for easy reading. This bright display magnifies the characters in every TTY conversation, making each word large, clear and easy to read. Characters magnified on the Large Visual Display appear several times larger than on a standard TTY display. A variety of lens colors are also available to enhance readability. The Large Visual Display connects to an external port on the Superprint 4425A (with ASCII). The port, which can also be used for an external printer, must be ordered when purchasing the TTY. You can use the built-in printer on the Superprint 4425A at the same time you are using the Large Visual Display. This lets you adjust the print style to bold or wide, giving you a printed record of the conversation.

I've had the printer for a while, but this addition makes a much faster and quieter way to talk on the phone. I use it with an amplified phone so now I understand everything that is said.
