The Americans with Disabilities Act Hotel ADA guidelines requires all hotels and motels to make their facilities equally accessible to those with physical disabilities. For Hearing impaired guests, hotels ADA Guidelines and motel ADA Guidelines require the hotel or motel to provide rooms equipped with notification devices, telephone amplifiers and TDDs (Telecommunication Devices for the Deaf). Part of the cost of meeting these Hotel ADA guidelines may be tax deductible, or you may qualify to receive a tax credit for the installation. Significant savings than purchase each equipment individually.
(1) TDD - Telecommunication Device for the Deaf makes any telephone accessible to the deaf. Conversation is carried out by typing and reading the display. Guest units are display only, with a printing unit needed at the front desk.
(2) Alarm Clock - Has large display for those with visual impairments. Comes with bed shaker and has loud audible alarm for the hearing impaired.
(3) Telephone Signaler - This unit has options for controlling the lamp and the telephone as well. Used for alerting guests of the telephone ringing.
(4) Telephone Amplifier - For hearing impaired guests who can use the telephone but require amplification. This in-line amplifier works with any telephone.
(5) Door Knock Signaler - This unit alerts guests by a flashing light when someone knocks at the door. Low battery indicator. Can use as flashlight.
(6) Alarm Monitor KA300 System Combines photo-electronic fire/smoke detector with a high intensity strobe light into one visual and audible system.
(7) ADA Sign - Lets guests know that your facility provides services for the hearing impaired. (5” x 11”)

I own a small B&B. I don't use the C-HA2 very often but my guests appreciate it when there is a need. Accommodating your customers brings them back!
