It consists of a rechargeable amplifier and speaker unit along with an extremely comfortable headset microphone. You simply charge the ChatterVox overnight with the included charger, put on the fanny pack and headset, plug the headset into the fanny pack, and adjust the volume knob and your set.

I like how I can move the speaker to direct it in which ever direction I chose, just put it on the counter when ordering. I can give the fanny pack to a person and speak only to them, its great!
